There are many, many reasons I choose to fuel my body on fruit.
Fruit is sugar, and sugar is our bodies primary source for energy. It is the easiest way to get quick energy, that requires the least amount of energy to digest and absorb, and therefore utilize.
Fruit is clean burning in the system, and it produces an alkaline ash, which makes are bodies alkaline, which is how they are meant to be.
Fruit is 70-80% water, just like our bodies are!
Fruit contains enough protein and fat to nourish us properly, as long as you are eating enough of it!
Fruit makes us happy! Our brain runs on glucose to, it really will lighten your mood when you are all carbed up!
Fruit is gently cleansing for the body, helping it to naturally rid itself of the myriad of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis.
The fiber in fruit helps to normalize the digestive system. This happened to me. I used to suffer greatly with IBS and other digestive issues, all of which have since disappeared on the fruity path.
Fruit is full of raw, living, nutrients. Our bodies were designed to live in raw, fresh food, and the nutrients in fruit are perfect, just as nature intended them to be. They are ultimately very bio-available.
Fruit is fast and easy, and at the end of the day, it tastes good. I relish every one of my meals. I eat until I am satisfied, and I am healthy and fit because of it.
Don`t take my word for it. Do your own research, or better yet, try it out on yourself.

Love your blog!
Thank you fruity friend!
Do you have many greens or green juices? Or do you find fruit covers all your nutritional bases?
I don’t eat greens on a regular basis, no. I eat zucchini and other “veggie fruits’ and I feel the best I have ever felt! As long as you are eating enough, you should be fine.
amazing! to be honest i don’t think i could ever (or at least in the foreseeable future) give up meats or animal products, but you have seriously inspired me to take fruit seriously and eat lots of it!
Yay! Eat lots and lots, and I bet you meat cravings will magically be gone…
That is a really cool way to eat melon. I absolutely never thought of eating them that way!
Haha, it really is the only way
That is such a beautiful bowl of grapes!!
Well, I’m glad to find some other fruit lovers out there. I’m not a raw foodist myself but I do incorporate it into my diet, which mostly consists of wholesome vegan food.
I loooove melons/antalopes but I don’t quite understand what you’ve done with yours, lol..
Haha, I just cut off the top and bottom, scoop out the seeds and blend them with cinnamon in a high speed blender until they are like pudding. Then I just cut away the rest of the peel and that is it!
You are lovely and so inspiring! I especially resonated with your post about the body and the ego. Love!
Thank you Tish! Happy to have you around <3
