Life is much shorter than you think it is. Think of how fast it is gone by already.
There is no such thing as trying to many things. There is such a thing as trying to little.
Remember all those times you were working so hard for something? Or you were waited so long for something? A new job, car, vacation, love? Do you ever take time to sit and be thankful for these things you worked and waited for that have come? Or are you already on to working and waiting for something else?
Do you embrace the unpredictability of life, trusting that life always works out one way or other, or are you stuck trying to make life happen? How’s that working?
You can never tell your loved ones that you love them to many times. You can tell them to few.
I can not think of one thing I regret doing. I have always managed to make peace with all the things that have happened in my life. I regret things I have not done.
There are endless opportunities to make someone feel special. But you have to act on them.
People may not remember what you have done or said, but they will remember how you made them feel.
Eating more fruit really will make you feel better. you’re just going to have to try it out for yourself.
If you want more love, try giving more love. If you want more money, give generosity a whirl. If you want more time, make more time for others. It may not actually increase the amount of these things in your life, but it will help change your perspective.
Stand on your head every once in a while. You never know what you might see from this new angle.
If you hate your job, your friends, your husband, your city, do some self inquiry. Take these opportunities to learn about yourself and about what you really do love. Then make the change. You only have one life, and when you know what you love, life is to short not to do it.
When you are doing what you love, what fulfills you, what makes you jump out of bed in the morning with passion and joy, you are doing your service to the world. We each have a role to play. It may not be big, but it is important.
A soul mate is someone who sees you, challenges you to be your highest self, does not take your bull shit, and loves you just as you are all at once. Don’t push this person away.
Love comes in many forms. Learn to recognize them all.
We are all genetically 99.97% the same. Your not that different. They are not that different. Alow yourself to be a part of the whole.
separation is just an illusion.
Pain happens, suffering is a choice.
You cannot lose something that was never yours. We do not own anything, ever. Hold life with an open palm and watch desperation and fear melt away.
We never know how much time we are going to be given. Take time each day to be thankful for the time which you have had.
Working on yourself, becoming the highest form of you, is working on the world.
Chances are you wont remember the long hours at work, on the treadmill or in front of the t.v. You most likely will remember the minutes spent sharing with those you love.
Remember how you would have wanted to be treated? Treat them like that.
There is no such thing as showing too much compassion.
Actively make the time to do something you love every.single.day. That way you can make every day a day you look forward to.
Life is to short to diet. Your body won’t respond well anyways. Eat whole foods, you will learn to love them I promise.
Life is equally “good” and “bad.” It’s what you chose to focus on that makes the difference.
There is something to love about everyone. Challenge yourself to find them all.
Open your heart. You will get hurt. But you will also make room for real, deep love and connection. You cannot have one without the other.
Nothing that happens to you is to big for you to handle.
Love with all you got. Eat with gusto. Sweat like you mean it. Try. Open yourself to all life has to offer. Up, down and sideways, in the end you will be glad you did.
